Where It All Began
A Word That Changed Everything
It began with a word — गाथा (Gatha) — a Sanskrit word meaning "a sacred song or story passed through generations."
Our founder grew up surrounded by heirloom jewellery — pieces that were never just ornaments. A grandmother's nose pin carried the memory of her wedding day. A great-aunt's bangle was engraved with a mantra she whispered every morning. These weren't accessories. They were living stories.
But somewhere along the way, modern jewellery lost that soul. It became about trends, fast fashion, and surface-level sparkle. Gatha was created to bring back the depth — to create jewellery that carries intention, cultural memory, and spiritual significance.
